During a conference, Apple has revealed the information of the much-awaited iPad 2.
As in comparison with the other 2nd generation products, Apple’s products typically have not diverged a lot from the original model. As commented by a number of insiders introduce something that is very rarely seen in a second-generation product.
The iPad 2 has in fact done a complete overhaul on the hardware design of the product, focusing on a thinner, sleeker, and more portable design. It is probably more impressive is that Apple was able to achieve goal while still adding features that usually would be predictable to take more space.
Overall the iPad 2 is close to one-third thinner than the original iPad, with a weight decrease between fifteen and twenty percent. The new OS runs version 4.3 with a dual cameras that are specially designed for optimal face-time use with a HD video recording.
Together with the updated hardware it has a magnetic screen cover that plan to assist protects the front of the screen without adding bulkiness.
Apple says that order processing will begin on March 11 and a majority of the shipment that should occur soon after. Prices will range from $499 all the way up to $829 for the 3G model with the most storage obtainable.
